Easy to find-Beautiful space. Great friends-new & renewed friendships. Good food-always too much. Worked out bugs in sewing & new space. I will be back.

What a great experience-this was my first retreat & I learned something from every lady present. I got alot of sewing done and know what I have left to do! It is so nice to be among such a great group of women so willing to share.

P.S. Great Shower!!!
Thanks for the invitation to spend a few days quilting at your "great" retreat house. It was so relaxing & fun to sew and share ideas with friends old and new.

We had such a great time this week sewing, knitting and cross-stitching-I think I stitched more these last few days than I have in years!!!
This house just came alive with all the love and laughter. It seemed to be made for all of us and all our stuff. We had very few problems and this house turned out great!!!!!
Here's to many more happy times

This house is just perfect. The fellowship of friends spending time together now and years to come will be outstanding.
Sewing with friends is always a blessing that can never be taken away. May your endeavers become blessings as guests become friends in passing thru these doors.

Our quilt group spent this past weekend at "A Great Place To Be." OMG, it was fabulous. The sewing space is awesome. Great lighting and plenty of electrical outlets. The bedrooms were comfortable and the shower is a religious experience. We spent lots of time sitting on the porch, talking and watching the world go by. Great neighborhood. I can't wait to return for our next retreat. Thanks, Pam, for your hospitality.

5 of us just got back from 3 wonderful days spent quilting, reading, sleeping, eating and laughing at "A great place to be". We had such a wonderful time and we were soooo delighted with the retreat house. To say it was immaculate would be an understatement!! It was perfect, with seating for 10 we were able to spread out. The 3 design walls were great and we utilized them frequently. It was nice to meet Pam when she stopped over to make sure everything was going good, then she left us and didn't drop in unexpectedly as other retreat owners did. when your sitting around in you p.j.'s you don't always appreciate people you're not real familiar with dropping by. WE are already looking forward to booking again next year. The chocolates and fresh flowers were a very nice touch, too!! Kudos Pam and Gail, keep up the good work!!

Had such a good time! Everything was nice and cozy. Nice quiet neighborhood. Close enough to town & the quilt shop. Already planning next year's trip to visit again!

I had the opportunity to stay at A Great Place To Be and I have to say, it most definitely is a GREAT PLACE TO BE. I was so impressed with Pam and Gail and how they put this retreat house together. It has everything for your quilting needs, ironing boards and irons, cutting tables, lamps, a design board to help you organize and design your quilt blocks (which btw is something I had never seen before but is really awesome).
The house is beautiful and cozy, you need to bring only yourselves, towels and linens are provided for your stay. All that is required of you to bring is your rotary cutter and rulers along with your projects, also this house has a full kitchen to make meals or you can walk a short distance to a restaurant.
I most definitely will be back.
Thanks Pam and Gail for making your retreat house a wonderful place.
